My wife and I have stayed here at the Rainbow Courts several times and have enjoyed each and every stay. Our choice is staying in one of the three room cottages which has a living area, kitchen, bedroom and a full bath. A home away from home. Except you get to relax here!
This cute, quaint hotel is the way to go in Rockdale. Prices were comparable or better to other local options, but with a unique, semi-historic experience. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and I got a koozie the shape of a cowboy boots.
Absolutely love this cozy lil peice of paradise. I stay here at least once a year when in town for work. The owners and staff are very friendly and the grounds are well maintained. Rooms are very quaint, clean and comfortable. Love staying in the Carriage and School house the most but all rooms are beautiful. If you are looking for a weekend getaway this is a great place to come and there is a Safari Wildlife Park only 35 mins away.
The Rainbow Courts Motel was established in 1918. It is reported to be Texas's oldest motel and is a Registered Texas Historic Landmark!
This is my go to Motel. Love it, every room is different. Very friendly, clean, and well maintained.
This is such an amazing Texas historical treasure, being the oldest motel in the state. I've stayed here twice and the property is really unique. Lots of Texas history and the cabins are really cozy. The staff treats you like family and everything is super clean. You will it be disappointed.
